Anyone Can Volunteer... Any interested individual or group that wants to help men and women on their path to a successful career is welcome to assist our RGV Chapter. Retired electricians could help as tutors or judges. Woman's organizations could distribute information to prospective female applicants for the Electrician Apprenticeship Program. Experienced math teachers could help Apprentices overcome problems. Guest speakers could inspire new Apprentices. Handy-with-tools volunteers can assist in remodeling, painting and improving our facilites from time to time. If you enjoy cooking, we often have special cook-outs and BBQ's for Apprentices that you can volunteer your help. Helping is a wonderful feeling. Register for an Upcoming Event Fun activities are a great way to get people involved. Here we might describe some of our organization's activities and include a link to the "Recent and Upcoming Events" page. |

Want to "Make a Donation"? It doesn't have to be money! Contractors often donate valuable equipment, supplies, and even their time. Perhaps a unique piece of electrical equipment useful in the IEC shop for hands-on Apprenticeship experience. Left over materials from that last big job. Or, the one that got dropped and dented, but still as educational value. Why not donate it? Our Thanks always goes out to those who support and help the IEC with donations. Our Associate Members have been big time supporters for many years. Anyone, big manufacturers to an individual, can get involved and help. Remember... charitable contributions are tax deductible. |
