Our Programs

The RGV Chapter - IEC Inc consists of Electrical Contractor Members which support our IEC Chapter and the State/National IEC Organizations. These Contractors derive numerous benefits from their membership which includes support services in Safety, Management Training, Networking, and Education. The IEC Electrician Apprenticeship Program follows an annually updated Curriculum used by Chapters across the USA. Our RGV Chapter is Registered with the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Apprenticeship & Training and follows all required Federal Regulations. We are also "Approved for Veterans Training" which provides benefits for military personnel and veterans. We are associated with TSTC (Texas State Technical College), TWC (Texas Workforce Commission) and supported in part by the Texas Legislature as a Non-Profit Electrician Trade Program.

Harlingen Texas is in the middle of the Rio Grande Valley and only a few miles from the USA/Mexico border. The border is actually the Rio Grande River with several bridges connecting the two neighboring countries. It's a beautiful semi-tropical region filled with palm trees, flowers, fields of cotton and vegetables. Hundreds of miles of sandy beaches line the nearby Gulf of Mexico. A wonderful place to enjoy while you work and study as an IEC Electrician Apprentice.
